Resident Director, Prague, Czech Republic

IFSA-Butler is seeking a Resident Director (RD) for its new program in the Czech Republic. This full-time position is based in Prague and reports to the Vice President for Program Management and Development (VP-PMD) in Indianapolis. The RD is responsible for the management and development of IFSA-Butler's Prague site: day-to-day program administration; providing academic and cultural support to students; liaising with host universities and other partners; and overseeing the ongoing development of orientation, academic curriculum and co-curriculum. The RD works closely with the U.S.-based Program Management and Development team on all aspects of program management.

Leadership

  • Contribute leadership and vision to the development of strategic priorities for the organization.
  • Present data and recommendations to VP-PMD to support decision making on key issues.
  • Facilitate clear communication with colleagues, fostering a collaborative climate.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on programs prior to quarterly board meetings, and on an as-needed basis.
  • Travel to the U.S. as needed to meet with colleagues, discuss program issues and development and participate in training activities.
  • Provide assistance with projects to colleagues around the world.
