Academic Affairs Coordinator

IFSA-Butler is seeking an Academic Affairs Coordinator. The Academic Affairs Coordinator (AAC) is based in our Indianapolis office and reports to the Associate Director for Academic Affairs (ADAA). The primary responsibilities of the AAC are to facilitate course registration procedures and process international academic records for students who study abroad on IFSA-Butler programs. The AAC assists staff, students and partners in understanding educational systems, policies and processes, provides advice on academic affairs issues and handles customer service inquiries. Other duties include maintaining and archiving academic records, identifying strategies to promote students' academic success and assisting with various projects and initiatives.

Education, Skills and Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Ability to think innovatively and work independently and collaboratively
  • Commitment to Inclusive Excellence required
  • Work experience in a registrar's office, academic advising or student affairs preferred
  • Personal experience in international education preferred
  • Proficiency in Spanish preferred
