For the fourth time, University College Cork has been named University of the Year by the Sunday Times. The distinction was based on the university's research activities, low dropout rate, student satisfaction, learning outcomes and more. Click here to read more.

Spring Semester 2016 Deadlines Extended

IFSA-Butler has extended the spring semester 2016 application deadline for select programs.Below are the extensions:

University of Sydney: Extended to November 15

Engage London: Extended to October 12

Hebrew University of Jerusalem: Extended to November 1

New Zealand
University of Auckland: Extended to November 15
University of Canterbury: Extended to November 15
University of Otago: Extended to November 15
Victoria University of Wellington: Extended to November 15

University of Edinburgh: Extended to November 1
University of Edinburgh Parliamentary Internship: Extended to November 1
University of Glasgow: Extended to October 20

Engage Barcelona: Extended to October 15

IFSA-Butler Launches New Collaborative Program in Ecuador

IFSA-Butler has begun a new collaborative program option in Ecuador. Rehearsing Change is part of a groundbreaking movement called Fair Trade Study Abroad that focuses on using the arts for social change while students live, learn and create projects to benefit local communities. The program is offered in collaboration with the Pachaysana Institute, a small, non-governmental organization based in Quito. Any student interested in the arts, social change or international development may apply to this program.
