Participate on a small team of IFSA students to complete real-world projects presented by an international organization. Our eight-week remote internship allows you to leverage your unique background and interest as you work with other interns to research, analyze, and present business solutions. Engaging in an intercultural and a remote workplace provides a timely opportunity to develop professional skills and competencies that are increasingly relevant in today’s world.
Locations of international partner organizations may include Argentina, China, the Czech Republic, India, Italy, Mexico, or Spain. Supervision and student support are jointly managed by the in-placement supervisor, on-site Resident Director, and the faculty for our Internship and Methodology Seminar class.
In addition to our seminars, interns are engaged for 15 or more hours per week in business sectors such as Communications, Computer Science, Education, Finance, Global and Public Health, Hospitality and Tourism, Human Rights, Management, or Marketing.
Upon completion of the program, IFSA will send an official Butler University transcript to your home university with your coursework converted to the U.S. credit system. You will also have access to an unofficial transcript in your IFSA Student Portal. The transcript reflects courses taken, credits attempted, and grades earned during your term abroad. This service is included in your study abroad program at no additional cost.
