“I loved my study abroad experience with IFSA! Our program director did an incredible job of showing us the “local” experience and giving a holistic cultural experience. It was such a valuable and unique way of learning about Spain and I want to help people have similar experiences!”
Education
Emily recently graduated from Carleton College with an English major. Emily was part of the lacrosse and dance team while she was at Carleton.
Travel Experience
Prior to attending Carleton and living in Northfield, Minnesota for four years, Emily grew up internationally. She lived in England, Hungary, and Australia and took a gap year before starting college. Being part of multiple sports teams in high school in Hungary, Emily traveled all across Europe competing with other international schools. After leaving Europe for Australia, and later America, Emily missed living in Europe and traveling easily between countries. So for her study abroad, Emily chose to go to one of the cities she didn’t visit with her sports team—Barcelona, Spain!
Did You Know?
Emily has been dancing since she was four years old.
