“I caught the international education bug when the Global Opportunities Office at Queen Mary sent out an email asking for volunteers to write blog posts for them. That was the start of me wanting to share the joys of study abroad and is what put me on the path of wanting to work in this field. Having studied abroad through IFSA, I’m thrilled to be able to come full circle, and now be on the other side of the experience!”
Education
Miriam earned a bachelor’s degree in human biology with a minor in theatre from Scripps College.
Travel Experience
As an undergraduate, Miriam spent a year studying abroad at Queen Mary, University of London through IFSA. She has been trying to find a way back ever since. In addition to her year abroad, she spent two years working as an English language assistant in France, where she was quite happy to indulge in a daily pain au chocolat!
Did You Know?
Miriam was an extra in “American Vandal” Season 2 on Netflix – you can even spot her in a few scenes! She’s also an avid tap dancer.
