“I grew up in Saigon (Vietnam) dreaming about other countries. I often touched pictures in travel books, closed my eyes, and imagined such destinations. As the world grows closer, I hope to help students go beyond pictures and imagination—to immerse in cultures and interact with great peoples of our world.”
Education
Trung started learning about International Business in Hogeschool Van Amsterdam in the Netherlands. In the U.S., he earned his associate’s degree from Tarrant County College, a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s in Technology, Innovation, Education from Harvard University
Travel Experience
Born and raised in Vietnam, Trung has lived and worked in several countries across Europe (the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, and Nordic countries) and the U.S since the age of 19. His favorite city is Prague where he often sat in antique cafés and eateries (rumored to be formerly frequented by Franz Kafka and Albert Einstein) daydreaming about their lives and adventures.
Did You Know?
During college, Trung spent years in his part-time job as an assistant chef. As a result, he has recipes for more than 40 fusion dishes (including the famous Peking duck) and can make most types of sushi.
