Education

Amelia holds a degree in psychology from the Universidad de Costa Rica, became a Certified Waldorf Educator for Early Childhood from the Centro de Desarrollo Antroposófico de Cuernavaca in México, and is currently training as an anthroposophical psychotherapist in the International Postgraduate Medical Training in Colombia. She was also a co-founding teacher at Casa de las Estrellas Waldorf School in Nosara, Costa Rica.

Travel Experience

During a sabbatical year following high school, Amelia spent a semester in Paris where she worked, studied, and traveled. She says the growth experienced was life changing, marking some of the most powerful decisions she has made in her life. Amelia also studied in Mexico.

Did You Know?

Amelia sang with an almost all-girl reggae band and recorded an original piece with them. Today, she occasionally create songs inspired by a beloved cuatro venezolano she’s learning to play.
