Education
Maritheresa (MT) completed her undergraduate work in international politics at the Pennsylvania State University and received her Master of Arts and Ph.D. in International Relations at Georgetown University.
Travel Experience
MT first studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain as a Penn State undergrad. She conducted her doctoral research in Portugal. She lived outside the U.S. for more than 25 years in Spain, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, and Greece. MT travels extensively, recently adding a “sola” trip to Rapa Nui (Easter Island).
