“This role is incredibly rewarding! How many other jobs allow you to meet so many new, wonderful people, travel the country exploring and showing students the very best of our culture and education system and allow you to learn from brand new fields every day? I really enjoy helping people —that could be guiding students through the academic system or local supports, highlighting the hidden cultural gems of Ireland, interrogating cultural assumptions, or working with the Irish institutions to welcome IFSA students. I am privileged to get to do that every day.”

Education

Suzi graduated from National University of Ireland Galway with a Bachelor of Arts in History & Political Science and Sociology. She also holds a Master of Arts in Irish History from University College Dublin. Most recently, Suzi qualified as a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Facilitator.

Travel Experience

Suzi has a huge passion for traveling and took a year to travel through Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and the U.S. She experienced culture shock, language barriers, and logistical nightmares, but she also had the time of her life! She says the whole experience was a huge education and helped her better appreciate the challenges that students face when studying abroad.

Did You Know?

Suzi has her own horse called Lizzie. She is also setting up her own Little Free Library in the village where the movie “Disenchanted” was filmed!
