Biography

Bree Gibson Vopelak, J.D., LL.M, CCEP currently serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute, where she provides strategic legal counsel and works closely with leadership and the Board of Directors to support strong governance, risk management, and organizational compliance. She brings more than 15 years of experience advising nonprofit and mission-driven organizations on legal, regulatory, and operational matters.

Throughout her career, Bree has led legal, compliance, ethics, risk management, and governance initiatives across complex nonprofit organizations. Her areas of expertise include nonprofit tax law, board governance, enterprise risk management, internal investigations, policy development, grants compliance, and regulatory compliance.
