Emily Morrow

“Traveling abroad allows you to broaden your perspective and take a massive leap out of your comfort zone, but studying and living abroad is an even deeper step that gives students a chance to acquire cultural intelligence, a critical skill that will only become more crucial as our lives continue to become more global.”

Education

Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in history from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Master of Philosophy in Public History and Cultural Heritage from Trinity College Dublin, and an MBA from University College Dublin Smurfit School.

Travel Experience

Emily grew up in Texas and has been to 33 states. She started traveling abroad to Latin America and the Caribbean as a child with her family. She and her mother started a tradition of traveling together to various European countries each year when she went out-of-state for college, a tradition she holds dear. She has since traveled to 33 countries around the world for both work and leisure, including Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, and Croatia.

Did You Know?

Emily worked on a documentary series about Ancient Egypt for the Discovery Channel.
