Education
Emma earned her undergraduate degree in mass communications and Spanish from the University of Denver and her graduate degree from the same institution where she studied media and public communication with a focus in domestic globalization. Emma’s thesis focused on representations of cultural diversity within modern country music.
Travel Experience
Emma inherited the travel bug from her late father who taught English as a second language in Malaysia, where Emma was born. One of her favorite study abroad experiences was with IFSA in Málaga, Spain in 2008. She also had the opportunity to travel to various locations in Europe—where she met her husband in Germany— and the Middle East with Indiana University.
