Jenna Daugherty

Divisional Vice President, Corporate and Civic Relations, Abbott

Biography

Jenna Daugherty is Divisional Vice President, Corporate and Civic Relations, where she leads stakeholder engagement and builds effective corporate partnerships, both internally across the Abbott enterprise, and externally with civic, academic and cultural institutions.

In her current role, Jenna leads a team responsible for global Abbott programs including Abbott’s retiree communications; Abbott House, a replica of Abbott founder Wallace C. Abbott’s 1891 home; and the Abbott Historical Archives, the corporate collection comprised of more than 4 million physical and digital artifacts capturing the company’s 135-year legacy. She also oversees Abbott’s Civic Relations initiatives, ensuring the company is a leader and partner with organizations and institutions that make Chicago a world-class city and business hub.

Previously, Jenna was Divisional Vice President, Global Citizenship and Sustainability and Vice President of the Abbott Fund, Abbott’s philanthropic foundation. Jenna initially joined Abbott in 2010, managing corporate and community relations.  In 2013, she joined AbbVie when it became an independent public company, directing civic engagement and strategic projects until she re-joined Abbott in 2017. Prior to Abbott and AbbVie, she worked at several nonprofit institutions.

Jenna earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations and journalism from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She serves as global co-lead of Women Leaders of Abbott.
