Education
Valeria earned her master’s degree in public policy and administration at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE), building upon her bachelor’s degree in social anthropology at the Autonomous University of Yucatán.
Travel Experience
Valeria’s first educational experiences abroad were in the U.S. where she participated in leadership workshops and community educational projects in Fort Collins, Colorado; Brattleboro, Vermont; Washington D.C.; and Seattle. She had a deeper cultural immersion by studying for a semester in Seoul, South Korea.
Did You Know?
As a child and teenager, Valeria was a rhythmic gymnast and in recent years she has practiced acrobatics and acroyoga.
