Education
Ziyanah is a rising senior at the University of North Carolina, Asheville, majoring in political science and minoring in sociology. She is attending on the prestigious Selby and Richard McCrae Scholarship, which provides her with a full ride.
Travel Experience
Ziyanah studied abroad for a semester in Rome, Italy, where she became near fluent in Italian. This experience helped her to begin learning Spanish upon returning home, and opened her mind to a career in helping other students study abroad.
Did You Know?
Ziyanah became a college cheerleader and D1 athlete after never having trained in cheerleading before. She flew as a flyer and cheered for her school’s basketball teams during her sophomore year.
