$500 Bring a Friend Cultural Grants

Study abroad is better together! We’re offering you and a friend from your college or university each $500 to help you see and do more abroad during Spring 2027 semester at select locations.

To apply: Submit your application to any IFSA Spring 2027 program in Argentina, Australia, London, England, or Scotland, by October 1, 2026.

You and a friend must each start an IFSA application for one of the eligible programs after September 11, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. ET and submit it by October 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

You must email your IFSA Enrollment Counselor, state that you are applying for this grant, and provide your friend’s name. Your friend must follow the same process.
