“Growing up I did not travel much outside of the United States but I was always fascinated with the different cultures and people I would meet and the stories they could tell. My hope is to help others experience these cultures abroad and to have their own stories to tell!”
Education
Luke earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Schreiner University and his graduate degree from University of Houston Clear Lake in hydrogeology. Luke’s thesis focused on the sea-level rise and inundation of marshlands in the west Houston-Galveston Bay Area over a 100-year period.
Travel Experience
Luke’s travel abroad has been limited to mostly countries along the Gulf of Mexico, but recently he has visited Scotland and hiked the Incan Trail in Peru.

Luke loves to read about different cultures and their history, from the rise of the Mongols, to the fall of Rome, to the birth of Japan, and exploration of the Nordic Vikings.
