Ruka completed undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in history at the University of Oxford, specializing in the history of science, nature, and popular visual and literary cultures in the 19th century.
Travel Experience
Ruka began to travel a lot more as a student taking part in research trips and academic conferences. She holds a particular appreciation for being able to learn while traveling.

Ruka discovered she had a mild beetroot allergy during a school science experiment in Year 10 (freshman year).
