“I am so thankful to my 20-year-old self for choosing to move to Germany for a year of study in my third year of university. It truly shaped my future and how I live my life today. It’s wonderful to now be able to help students have similarly life-changing experiences through IFSA’s programs!”
Education
Zoë holds a first-class bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Durham University. In her final year, she focused on Kant’s moral philosophy and wrote a dissertation using Kant’s concept of ‘duty’ to argue for the consideration of future generations in climate change policy and action.
Travel Experience
In her third year of university, Zoë enrolled in an Erasmus study abroad program at the University of Tübingen, Germany. Travel bug ignited, Zoë undertook her first period of extended travel post-graduation, when she spent 6 months travelling in South East Asia. The following year she spent 5 months travelling from Mexico to Panama and 2 months backpacking through Europe, including a month-long stint on a yacht sailing from Turkey to Italy!
Did You Know?
Zoë hasn’t spent longer than 6 weeks living in one place in the last 15 months. She is a true ‘nomad’!
