University of Hawai’i at Manoa Summer Webinar

This upcoming summer, IFSA and the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa are collaborating to offer students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the beauty and wonders of the Hawai’ian people, history, language and more! Students can study in Honolulu for 6 weeks, earning up to 6 semester-equivalent credits from a wide range of disciplines, including many that are unique to Hawai’i or the Asia-Pacific region, for example Introductory Hawai’ian Language, History of the Hawai’ian Islands, and Geography of Contemporary Hawai’ian Society.
Students will have the opportunity to explore all aspects of Hawai’i and immerse themselves in its culture, on their own and through a variety of excursions, cultural activities, or volunteering opportunities. Students will have a meal plan and live together in an on-campus residence hall with local staff to help them integrate and explore.
